ONE STEP AT A TIME

Despite being diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and again in 2015, this young woman refused to give up hope. Instead, she took on a challenge that would test her limits: crossing Europe's largest glacier and climbing Iceland's highest peak. The inspiring journey that she embarked on is this touching documentary. Not only did she push herself to new heights, but she also raised significant funds with the help of others to improve services for those battling cancer. Her determination and strength in the face of adversity serve as an inspiration to us all.

WHAT IS FOOD ADDICTION?

Food addiction is a serious issue that affects many individuals in various ways. It's essential to understand the effects of food addiction, both physical and emotional, and how it can impact someone's overall well-being. To gain a better understanding, I took the initiative to speak with individuals who have and still struggle with food addiction. Through our conversations, I learned about their experiences, the recovery process, and the steps they took to overcome this addiction. It's important to note that while food addiction can be challenging to overcome, achieving long-term recovery and living a healthy and fulfilling life with the proper support and resources is possible.

REYKJAVIK BUTTERFLIES

Initially, the "Reykjavik Butterflies" project aimed to create a narrative-driven film about art groups in Reykjavik. The project included diverse artists, such as musicians, street performers, illustrators, designers, and filmmakers, who presented and performed new work every week. The street theatre group, "Götuleikhúsið," was particularly notable for their impressive performances. Among the participating artists were several musicians, and I used the music of three of them in the film. However, halfway through filming, I shifted the project's focus towards experimentation, combining my various filming and editing styles and exploring new techniques. The result was an experimental film.
